MarlboroMan yea its true you get performance upgrades (lvl4 upgrades) body upgrades and a wide body kit by beating the outruns. You should do the outruns then continue with the main races then do the outruns when they appear again. If you have completed the game you can race the outruns but you wont get anything from them.

hi, i m new here & i need a li'l information about the nfsu2 interface.
is there a way to rotate the car in the car showcase anyway u want (nfs7 had this feature, u c'd rotate ur car anyway holding with ur mouse and most probly w & e keys)? i tried all the possible keys & even mouse doesnt work. to have a 360 deg. view of the car i need to wait inactively for minutes & then the car rotates itself. its pissing me off.
any suggestion w'd be appreciated.

Hold your middle mouse button then move your mouse around to move the car/camera around.

ex- People posting screenies of there sound system, how many different sound system combinations are there.

There are 16 different audio components, SUV's can hold upto 12 of these, cars can hold upto 6. There is 3 different hydraulics.

Or it would be useless to put other brands in, cause everyone would go for full performance.

most stores like EB receive the shipment the 15th and put it on shelves the 16th
i dont think they'll set aside time to wait for the shipment then put it up on the shelf for just one game, geez, be patient its only a day

speaking of which... only 20 hrs left for me

NFSU2 Gets shipped out on the 15th and on shelves by the 16th. But here EB gets it on 16 for 64.99 Canadian. And At future shop its on the shelves on the 17th for 54.99. EBGames are rip offs. I bought San Andreas from there for 64.99 and i looked at superstore and iit was 48.43 and included Midnight club 1. EB Games get games quicker but its 10-15 dollars more.

hi there,
small question about the unique items:

after getting them, can you use these uniques also for the non-career cars? I mean you can't drive your careercar online (afaik).

I've completed the game but only done 2-3 outrunraces, so I haven't got a single unique, somehow I don't like the idea of doing it again, only to be competetive in the online races.
