Haha
I only had 4 pints. And don't worry, I didn't drive home!
Its a 6HP drop from my last car, but it gets more of it onto the road, the interior is better and it cost me £3k less.
we should have a comp to see which user has the faster car. the contestants have to print out their dyno sheets and post it here with thier name written on it. ill say Steel would come 2nd to the camaro.

As if people are going to go to the dyno shop, and pay for a test just so they can have e-respect
Also, more power doesn't neccesarily mean your car is faster. What you need are timeslips from a 1/4 mile run.

Bojan can always whip up some more copies of MW cant he
I imagine it would beat my Camaro mainly because a) awd = insane launch(or burnt clutch ), and b) my car is WAY overdue on a tune-up... I'm holding off on replacing the plugs, wires, and O2 sensors since I'm going to be getting LTs in the near future(yay!!!) and I'll just do it all at once. It is seriously about a 3 hour job to change spark plugs on my car with the stock manifolds there. ARG!!
Yes, that does count Grez
Im REALLY interested to know the 1/4Ml time for the Audi. I know 0-60 kicks in somewhere around 5.4 secs, and the speedo goes as far as 180
Right, thats it. One weekend when I'm free, I'm off down Santa Pod
=O
I'll have to test that out;)
A 13.3-sec quater mile in a stock 1400KG car is damn quick, though in all honesty it probably needs a fair bit of tweaking. I'm investing in some new sillicone hoses and a nice cleanup of the engine bay, once I've done that I'll get some pics in again

Dont have any Dyno runs, nor have I taken it to the track to run it.
However.... that being said. It is fast enough for me.

scracth what i said. sorry steelsnake. you've been demoted to 3rd!
Don't trust him just yet
He migh have just taken the pics by chance
Haha, I guess I'm just a sore looser. Though the Audi would give it a good run for its money round the track. And cost about a tenth as much.
I do love the new Vettes, but I couldnt justify the price. Then again, I guess Im just an old dog who couldnt justify the price of any new car.
The old Camaro, being his parents car, doesnt count in the table. Unless we can take credit for our friends cars, in which case Ill win. I know a guy whos rebuilding his 800+awhp Skyline for more power.
*sig removed for being too big. limitations are 550x120px & 50kb*
Lol. You win that one. The most powerful car I know the owners of is a Ruf Turbo R. Thats about 690. They lived near where my parents used to, in a big arsing mansion.
I agree with the price thing on new cars. I am curious what they are looking at priceing the new Challenger (If they release the concept).
However, pretty sure I mentioned this somewhere either on this thread on an earlier page.... or another thread.
All said and done... the Vette (Which while I am the primary driver and it is in my name) was won by my wife in Vegas when we vacationed there after I got back from Iraq. We had to pay tax and title for it (Which is a far cry less than the 45000 sticker price).
Well, Car and Driver is guessing that the concept car (with the 6.1) would retail for about 35 grand. So I'd estimate that we're looking at about a grand or so more than a comperable Mustang. Either way, it looks nice, although I'm slightly dissapointed at the roughly 4000lbs curb weight.
