Support the NFS MW a 6.1 audio system ??

Not directly, best you get is stereo. It still sounds great on a 6.1 tho!

has any NFS game had more support than stereo?
i can't remember any, but support for the 7.1 card i have would be nice.
although most sound cars with greater than stereo support tend to simulate it anyway.

Ive got a 5.1 system and it still sounds great, wall mounted too.

I didn't know they made 6.1 systems. 
Anyway, I'm running 5.1, but there's only an option for stereo.

5.1 is always better than 2.1 or stereo alone, so it feels goood lol, Im waiting on my new sound card to arrive so it wont lag the game as much and I get my 5th speaker (center) to work on my 5.1 lol, for now Im with a 4.1 and the sound card actually slows down the game.
So tip, unless your sound card supports 5.1+ dont get 5.1+ lol

Hi all,
to help the confusion a bit:
- PC has stereo support only. In the future, we'll most likely change it.
- Xbox, 360 has 5.1 support (and 6.1 as well since it's automatic matrix decoding in the rear). This option is set in the Xbox DASHBOARD
- PS2 and GC have Prologic 2 support (which is pretty much 5.0). Set your decoder to Prologic 2 when playing on these systems. This option is set in-game in the Audio OPTIONS.

i have a 8 channel 7.1 intergrated sound card and it works....but then again i dont have 7.1 speakers...
