Has anyone here successfully hacked the PS2 and if so are you willing to share what you have done. I have some stuff, but would like to work with someone to get it hacked. I have seen someone do it, but they are no longer coming on the boards or answering their email. Thanks in advance.

What I mean by hacking the game is changing the ECU, TURBO, and rims to anything you want. Like putting 26 inch rims on a 240sx. Stuff like that.

Doesn't make sense, because the game is loading off the disc, not your USB stick.

You need AR Max to get the files to your USB stick. Once you get the file to the USB stick then you need to open a Hex editor to edit the file. From there you have to know which line corresponds with what car and it's different parts. I can edit the rims in the editor, but when I go to load it back into AR Max it says that the file is corrupted. I think the checksum is getting changed. This is where I am at a stand still.

It wouldn't work, you would edit the files on your PS2 DVD... that's how people mod their Halo 2's
