Different Heat Levels

What are the different heat levels? The x1 bar you can see around the minimap.?
What police cars do they release like:

Heat Lvl1: Civic Cruiser
Heat Lvl2: Undercover Civic Cruiser
Heat Lvl3: State Pursuit Vehicle
Heat Lvl4: Undercover State Pursuit Vehicle

Next???

A Corvette.

Which are pain in the but. Totally unrealisticly heavy, they're tanks. Near impossible to push around.

Well the heat 1 cars are unrealistically light. You tap them on the front and they're down.

I think the funnies cop cars to be chased with is the Corvette's (heat 5), but the most realistic ones is the GTO's (heat 4).

tried those Super Charged SUVs on black edition? is Heat Level 8 present?

You only get up to heat level 5, but in last race against Razor you get to heat level 6 in the last pursuit, there is also one race in the challenge series that you have heat level 6 i think. Heat level 7 and 8 (or any other number) don't exist, I'm on my fourth career now and have never seen it and never heard any one talk about it.

Don't think so but there are a trainer that let you have heat 9 but it is much as heat level 5 (little more aggressive).

Heat level 5: Federal Pursuit Vehicles (white Corvettes, police decals and lights)
Heat level 6: Sgt. Cross + Undercover Federal Vehicles (black Corvettes)
Heat level 7: Supercharged heavy SUVs

you got level 6 at the end of the game after beating Razor. This is the hardest event, the best of the best will be chasing you for a while

you got level 7 at a special Challenge series, only available in Black Edition.

Heat level 7 is only in black edition challenge, but this has been adressed in a lotta other threads, just read through them first.

Cross is joining the pursuit in level 5, at least after you have finished the career.

Not even after you beat the game. He's in x5 in general, just not all the time.

cross comes in heat level 5, too. (on ocassions)

You won't see much of Cross though... He's always the one behind the pack of backups, giving instructions to 'em.

Yea he is a coward

but i have smashed his car ether with my car or pursuit breaker some ware between 50-100 times now

I always drive with my BMW at heat 5, otherwise it's no fun

The only times I've ever seen him are in roadblocks, which is great, because I own him every time.

I see him in 98% of the chases, and if i don't see him its because he has crashed his car in a pursuit breaker or i something else before i do. After finishing the career i always drive my BMW and in heat level 5, maybe that's why i see him so often

No but it can be added with hex coding, but the car is undriveable (steering is super sensitive) and it has no sound.
