Ok, so I got the tool, had some minor problems but it turns out it's pretty easy all around. Some things to look out for: some roof scoops and other "bulky" parts (bumpers, skirts) tend to invert the graphics - so it's experimenting - 'PIRELLI' logo for example had to be posted inverted. Also, don’t save the changed vinyl when the game is running.
Overall I think it's a good try, for my first WRC car in NFS. I plan to make more = 03Focus WRC, couple of PUGS WRC, and of course Lacer and Impreza. But this will do for today (I can make it a bit better, like have the roof scoop work well with RS logo…but not now!), and I am quite satisfied with my Ford RS2002 WRC!

Thanks mate! I plan to make this years Castrop/BP and also Martini Racing Ford.. Those are harder, so I started with this one. Took me an hour and a half or so.

No the Focus is my mod, I did in with Photoshop 7. And the Rx7 - I realized later that the bodykit is wrong, so here's a better one!

Oh, and where are the savegames? I want to reinstall my NFSU soon, (formatting C), and I need to know where I can get my savegames to not have to complete the game again.

perhaps, i will try to get it there. I just messed up my Pug 206! I don't know exactly what went wrong, but the game will crash now every time I get to the modded vinyl... I suppose it will do it in the game as well... worst part the Pug was a saved car under one of my profiles, hence i can't use it NEmore. SOL.... I will reinstall the game so that the bin files are back to normal... And will try again.!! I hate this, my pug was looking awesome... damn it!

shame, when i get the game installed again, you'll have to show me how to use this vinyl thing lol

ok, so now it's time for Hyundai. They had Accent in WRC, and it didn't doo too well, but they made that car look good, and I have made a WRC vinyl for Hyundai. The last as we saw it. But since Huyndai wants to come back big time in 2005, I will post later a version of their concept art 'Huyndai RC'. more updates coming up.
Oh and my mad Focus is posted in the showroom now!

OK, been trying to make the pug look like a proper racer. Those ugly widebody kits suck! So I went for the basic bumper and skirts, but it came out alright in the end. Sort of the regular version of 03 WRC pug!
