Mac, PC, or Linux?
I chose Mac, they're the most practical out of the two I've used (windows and mac), and despite I'm the typical gamer, I'd rather have both so that ones for gaming, one's for the practicality of everything, and the fact that Macs don't have alot of viruses that can get through them, since no one makes viruses for macs... So what about you?

Since I'm into ze progaming bussines *hrm*, I use Windows, since most games aren't compatible with Linux & Co

Hmm . . . I fail to see how one mouse button, and no upgradeability, is more practical.spartan.dk wrote:I chose Mac, they're the most practical out of the two I've used

Then why do Mac's come with the shiznit one-button thing? They're uncomfortable, ugly, and more expensive then a normal mouse!!spartan.dk wrote:You can still use PC mouses with macs.boganbusman wrote:Hmm . . . Re: Mac, PC, or Linux?
yeah i agree with you on the mouse thing, i was in the apple store checking out the iMac and i had to press the button like 2 or 3 times to select someting and if you want to cop something you dont copy it, you click and drag it to where you want it... but you can always put in a optical USB mouse if you dont like the orignal one which is recommended.boganbusman wrote:Then why do Mac's come with the shiznit one-button thing? i have linux and windows on my laptop,
i want most wanted to work on both and not just xp lol
this way, if it works as it should id completley port to suse linux and give my licence sticker to some newbie who doesnt grasp linux yet, id like for everythin to work
i use skype (thats universally on all3 os's mac,win,lin)
gaim for messaging
propriatery ati 3d drivers configured the way i like
and open office 2 (supports the 2003 office files etc etc)
wine to run any win stuff (need to know how to get mw on it with it)
and its all free so i dont get bogged down with any restricting eula files
or viruses (cos the source gets modded so any virus that was, now doesnt work)
id also remove floppy drives on pc's thats good security
cant infect with a macro virus or some trojan u (e.g) might of got inside a crack etc etc.
lol but thats just me![Smile :-)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Linux isn't a "Programming OS". It's an everyday easier than Winblows OS. Don't try to argue with me because you only know how to use Winblows. I use Linux and Winblows and Linux can beat Winblows anyday. Many people on America's Army (thousands of players) use Linux and Mac only to play it. Sure Winblows may have a few advantages like running certain games, but Linux can counteract that with Cedega. Overall in the versatility run Linux can come out on top of Winblows.
