ea makes awesome need for speed games, but they can make some stupid decicions like not making the current- generation or to some people "old gen" consoles have online therefore not being able to drive some of the cars like the toyota mr2, corrolla or the shelby mustang, porshe 911 turbo undriveable in quick race, which are some of the cars that made me have a reason to buy carbon..... but ea can skrew up bad on some things.

I think they going overboard with some games. And here in SA we don't get all the games maybe thats why i feel they not making good games.

i think they make alright games, but for some reason they always seem to screw up the NFS games. look at the battlefield games they are like perfect and easily editable

Finally got the demo after getting back from vacation. I don't think I'll be buying the game.

Actually, the full game is much better than the demo, but its buggy and crashes a lot to the desktop.

Even a medium system can play at 800x600, 4X Anti-Aliasing, Full Anti-stropic, Visual Treatment on and everything else on max. And in the demo you can't play with that on the same system.

yes, you can do this in the demo too, from in-game "pause" menu.

Actually, that is one of the things that p*sses me off about the full version.

Every time you start a new career, the controls revert back to the defaults, which, for me, are unusable (hate using the arrow keys). I know that the argument is that not all PC's are only used by one person. However, the game seems to keep the same graphics settings as the last career.

It would be nice if you had the option to revert back to default settings on starting a new career or using the last player's custom control settings. Just my little winge for the day

I'm sure the question was already have been given, but I can't realy find it so: How can I unlock these cars in my 1,3 Collector's Edition version.
Lexus, porsche 911's, MR2, Lotus Europa and the ae86.

I'm still wondering about the AE86 and MR2 for my collectors edition.

The MR2 can be unlocked by doing an online reward card. I think the Europa is unlocked by completing an array of challenges. The Corolla cannot be unlocked.

Oh, and all these unlocks are for quickrace only.

Yup, that +XI Trainer rocks!

Just a pity that you can't select a different car as the game crashes - unless anyone has found a way round that...

Eh? Enable, the Unlock all cars cheat, go out to the car lot, buy a non-standard car, disable Unlock all cars, enable Unlock all series cars/upgrades, and you should be good to go.

Some guy in the NFSC content forum said that you can have up to 13 Autosculpted bumpers/sideskirts.

becuz it game involves around illegal street racing and cop chases and honda doesn't want their cars to part of it
