NFSMW - online game cannot play with full players

Hi guys, I've now come across a strange problem that I can only play in sessions with less than 4 players in total, if all player slots are occupied, the loading screen never ends and I cannot play. The same problem occurs when i host games and another 3 players join, I play on XP with patch 1.3 installed. any ideas?
