yeah, they made the pattern too large and the color wasn't dark enough. it shouldn't be visible until really close and it should be pitch black. i like carbon fiber parts, especially spoilers. put on the right car they can make it look edgey and sporty. when it comes to carbon hoods then i get picky.

Carbon can be in several shades, you can have a almost black or almost light grey carbon patern.

And the Gloss coating is what makes it look black. if you got bare carbon without any coating it is not at all glossy, and lighter in color.

I got alot of CF parts on my bikes and some parts have no clearcoat on places that are out of sight and it looks like it is a complete diffirent product.

On my bikes I love my carbon parts. on a normal car I would paint it.
