Unlock turbo in Underground 2

Look,i checked Gamefaqs to know how to unlock turbo stage 1, it was simple, open the performance shop in beacon hill, so i drove to beacon hill and went into the shop, and what do i see, the turbo section is still locked, what da hell?
In case you people should know, i started a new game on U2.

i don't think you get turbo in the shop on beacon hill. i think you get turbos later. but i haven't played in so long.

I if remember correctly you get the turbo at early stage 2.

yea i think you to unlock it rather than get when you find a new store.

A SMS message will send to u if the turbo is unlocked, before that, u have to win some more races first
