Which NFS game has the best tracks?

Post by SP4RCO »

Pick the game which has the circuits you liked the best, in terms of shape, environment, etc.

Don't mind the graphics quality since obviously the latest games are better modelled

Don't you think they were a little bit too repetitive?

Anyways...NFS High Stakes for me. Man, that game had everything. It had mountain tracks, snow tracks, autumn tracks, 3 race tracks, plus all of the Hot Pursuit tracks.

All the classic NFS games (TNFS to NFS6) had amazing tracks... My vote goes to NFS5, though. It had a great mix of high-speed and technical courses (Schwarzwald requires great skill with the older Porsches). And I miss the Autobahn so much...

The most recent games have too many curbs and bumps on the tracks, so it's not as pleasant to drive on them (and this is worsened by the faster pace of the cars).

high stakes hands down and second, hot pursuit 2. I loved those terrains and tracks. They were always different. One in the mountains, one near the train tracks, one in the desert.

High Stakes won this.

Hot Pursuit 2 was close. I loved the volcano track =D

I favor realistic enviroments so I'm going with MW (though I realise that level of realism might not have been technically achievable back in the day).

Besides the track side object it also has good track/car scale. Even UG2 still had places (particularly in the hills) where you could fit two-three cars in one lane. MW seems to have all types of road widths from very narrow to multilane highways.

i would have to go with PU because of the scenic routes and the change from ice to dry road. i loved racing the mountain tracks and seeing the change in weather conditions was just awesome IMO

I'm gonna go with TNFS - Coastal and Alpine were imo the best tracks in a racing game ever.

I only played HP2, UG 1+2 and MW, but the best was without a doubt HP2.

Great tracks, lots f details and a high variety between the tracks.
