Carbon's online modes

man. the new photo mode is soo awesome. im wondering though, can you take pictures in the garage instead of while driving. i want to get into the showroom v4 soo bad since i missed 1,2, and 3 cuz i had nfs on gamecube

I'm just worried that photo mode will be some half-assed (couldn't find a better word) mode like what EA whipped up for NFSU2. Not trying to make a biased statement or anything, but I don't think Carbon's photomode will get anywhere near GT4's photomode, since GT4 is a simulator, and the concepts of using a camera was nailed perfectly in GT4. EA promised us an excellent tuning system along with dyno testing in NFSU2, but seriously both of those features were extremely lame.

Photomode sounds really awesome, but EA has already put me off. The shots taken using this mode will be hosted on NeedforSpeed.com and not on your computer.

You can always use "Print Screen" on the computer or go to http://www.needforspeed.com and save your picture from there to the hard-drive...

Knowing EA, it's possible that they may have disabled print screen functionality, or something like that.

Hmmm...thats knida lame...

Would'nt it be simpler if we had a button that would take screenies and save
em on our hard disks like in the previous versions

Bah...I guess we will have to use the "print screen-goto nfs.com-and save" method

I don't get the point with the Nissan 180SX AND the 240SX being in the same game...hopefully it won't be smth like the GTO and the Monaro in MW; if the car in the pic with the Koenigsegg is the 240SX, maybe the 180SX will be a newer version of the series(you konw, one the "rounder ones"). Anyways, the Photomode sounds sort of cool, but I hope that the pics will be uploaded to their site AND also saved on the hard-drive.

it's the 240sx confirmed?? or did u suppose that the one that appears in screens is the 240sx but its really a 180sx?? those cars are "very similar".....can be also the 180sx, not the 240sx, althought the 240sx isn't confirmed yet...

In Most Wanted games were player hosted with players connecting directly to one another. So if the host player quit, the game would end for all players. In Need for Speed Carbon all games are run through an EA server, so there is no longer a player host who can end the game for the other players. This means that if a player leaves the game midway through the rest of the player will continue on as usual. The player who quit will get a loss and an increase in disconnect percentage.
