FEAR problems

I'm experiencing some pretty weird problems with FEAR, as the following demostrates:
the settings,
the benchmarking,
the result (with is 2fps btw)
I have tried re-installing, getting patches, downloading new gfx drivers and even got a new gfx card, but still the same problem. I've also tried switching some features on and off to see if they would make a difference, but obviously they didnt.
My system's stats are :
AMD 64 3700+
1GB RAM
7600GT xXx
p.s - i've also run fear on another computer of mine but it's specs are lower then this computer's and it runs fine -
P4 2.66GHz,
1GB RAM
9800 PRO
Any help will be very appreciated

Um. That's weird. If it runs fine on the other computer I suggest you use that. I don't know what could be wrong with your computer.

hmm thats very weird, try doing a system scan for bugs, viruses, etc. and depending how long youve had your gfx card make sure it is not covered in dust and that the fan is working properly, also try closing background programs

Well it seems the textures are missing...
Could be just a bug with the game..But u said u got a new gpx card
so it couldnt be the gpx cards fault...
It might be something with the ram...( I really dont know about this.im just guessing )
Its most prolly a hardware issue..since it runs fine on ur friends pc

, i have the same graphics card, with a 2 GBs of ram and a Pentium D 3.0, and here is what i got:
Maybe the game copy you have is messed up or something, try installing the game from another source.

I have already tried that, I first tried the DVD version, it only worked once and then gave up on me. The CD version couldn't even do that.

I found out why FEAR doesn't run on my PC...my gfx card isn't supported D:
..least I found a reason why one should read manuals....

Hmm..I wonder why it isnt supported..its pretty good isnt it..

Weird that you gfx card isn't supported just try a Driver Update.
And get a 7900GTO it's better and it supports all games (that is what i heard)

He needs to upgrade his drivers or install some older ones

The 7600GT is the same base chipset as the 6600GT so DOES work.
It sounds more like a HDD problem to me. Damaged sectors it's trying to install to?

Or RAM...as i mentioned earlier ...imo

sigh....I have got the latest driver updates (and I've tried the older drivers), I have reinstalled it several times (so no HDD problems, and if it was, the game wouldn't start period) and RAM isn't a problem because it runs perfectly on my other comp that also has 1GB. I have also tried to run the game with different patches.
I quote from the FEAR readme :
"F.E.A.R. - First Encounter Assault and Reconnaissance
English (North America) version 1.07
SUPPORTED VIDEO CARD CHIPSETS WITH LATEST DRIVER VERSION INFO:...
ForceWare(TM) Drivers (Windows(R) 2000/XP): v81.98
GeForce(TM) 4 Ti Series
GeForce(TM) FX 5900 Series
GeForce(TM) 6600 Series
GeForce(TM) 6800 Series
GeForce(TM) 7800 Series "
The 7600GT isn't listed so I would assume that all my grievances would be logically explained.
I'm happy it works for you Skyline_man, think of me when you play.
p.s - I borrowed Extraction Point the other day to see if any (positive) changes could be made but as expected, it didn't work.

Thats all FEAR supports? I have an ATI Radeon X1900XTX and it runs even though the X1k series isn't listed.

AAnd i have an X700 and it works

Hmm...maybe the 7600Gt was released after the 7800 series..like how the 8 series high-end gpx cards release before the mid-range ones
And hence they didnt get to test them...
