NFSMW Sound problem

Hello, I have an aerror with my sound when I play NFSMW, Whenever it gets to the Menu, Pass the Movie, and the Loading screen, the Sound locks up, and sotpsworking, and remains locked up untill I restart the machine, even if I leave the game. I've tryed many things to fix it, I reinstalled the game twice, installed the patch, and still no luck. If anyone has any help I'd greatly appreciate it

Have you updated your sound card drivers to the latest version?
