if you like racing sims, it pwns

if you only like games such as NFS and MC, then dont even bother

Yeah..i tried the demo..but it was'nt the best sim I played though..

It might be fun for a while..but after that its not worth much..imo

The only cool thing about it is teh damage..which is really realistic..

But anyways ur not the one who is buying it or anything so...go ahead
and play it!

I played the demo and didn't like it that much, the crashes look awesome but i'm gonna stay with toca 3

PSST even if you like Arcade games it is still great.
Because you can set up this game to suit you in some manner, the braking distances are realistic and so is cornering speed but to some extent you can change aspects to more arcadeish.

I am enjoying this game as it is a sim that even keyboard drivers can enjoy and THAT makes me give them a lot of respect.

Just got this at Best Buy for $20. Looks pretty good from what I've heard/read/seen. I read the manually and it's really in-depth. I'll probably give my opinion after installing and playing it some more. Now if only I had an extra $250 lying around so I could get that Logitech G25.

Whoo-doggy, that game's fun! I've only done the first few lessons in training mode, and have gotten gold on all but 2, which are the last two events in braking. You definately need a wheel and pedals to play this game. It looks really nice, too. I have all the settings turned up @ 1280x1024 without AF or AA, and with VSync on, I average around 30 FPS.

Things I like about it,

- Lots of car set up options
- decent car physics
- fact it based on a real race series
- nice, , not "jaw dropping eye candy", but still nice graphics
- large and active mod community
- fun and interesting racing

I have both Toca 3 and GTR2. GTR2 is definately the choice for peeps who like sims, though Toca 3 is kind of a mix between NFS and GTR2. Gotta love the life-size slot cars on real tracks.
