OMG, im in complete awe over my ISP.

I usually run 7kbs when downloading and Xtra has pretended to speed it up numerous times (In other words they slow it down then say they will speed it up and they set it back to normal) but now they have claimed to have set all their plans on max speed and I am running 150kbs through FlashGet

I might catch up with the NFS world this time before the demo gets old

sweet steelsnake00 your gonna have the exact same set up i have ! its awsome i have the cards at 425 and 1154 u can get the cpu easily to 2.6 on stock cooling im doing 104k on aquamark 7612 on 3dmark06 and 15k on 05 ... .. .

sorry to go off topic ... but does anyone have a answer to my earlier question??
Does the game arrive on the release date or do I have to wait 4 days after the release for shipment?? On a preorder from the EAstore.

idk what's the complain with powerful pc's
even i have a "low" pc and it runs fine in medium quiality, the road reflection to 0, world detail to medium and everything like AA is set to 0, world detail is full, car geometry detail full, shader to full, and the game runs even better than mw....

That's not when I'm getting my problem, I get this message when i double click the NFSC demo icon and when the game is about to start up, the message pops up saying:

nfsc_demo.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

I had that problem. It's due to trying to run the game in too low a resolution.

I have the exact same problem as Blazing Gallardo then, and my specs are as follows:

2.6-GHz Mobile Pentium 4-M, 256MB DDR SDRAM; 30GB, 4,200-rpm hard drive; Intel 82855 GME graphics; Dell TrueMobile 802.11g wireless

Edit: My GFX card is 64 mb, so it should be enough...

Well, apparently I can't run the NFS Carbon demo on my laptop as

NVIDIA GeForce MX series not supported.

as it is stated in the ReadMe. Guess I'll have to try my main computer later...

All what I can say that u need to buy a new laptop....it's a laptop???

Play carbon on a pc...here the game runs cool

Athlon XP +2600 2.3 ghz
512mb ram
Ati Radeon RX9550 256mb and 128bits

cool...even it's "old" hardware, the game runs fine....even IMO better than MW.

Omg... I just found out that my main PC has an NVIDIA GeForce MX 440... guess I won't be able to play the demo even on there...

Which also means that I can't play the full game on it either... Good thing my budget supports Nintendo Wii

I'm glad I didn't wait ages to download it. I didn't even bother to find the link.
As soon as I noticed it was exactly the same as the PS2 and X360 demo I was happy that I didn't have to get in line.

Downloading it for the 360 took me less then 10 minuites.

Its a pretty small demo and I think the handling still sucks, but it looks like the customisation will make a comeback, heres 3 nice shots from me:
