Well ok, maybe the reviews got me a bit here but I didn't expect the game to pass up the ratings of Most Wanted... but to the point. Should I still buy this game? I am always going to be a Nfs fan and I usually don't like to pass up any series, and thats about $49.99 for the Collector's Edition. Am I going to enjoy the game, start to finish?

I say yes none of the NFS series dissapointed even those that we thought that were stupid just by playing the demo.
So yes get the game.

In my opinion, all nfs games are always just getting better, this should have at least as much to play and fun than you had with ug2 and/or mw. So my answer is "Yes."

If you played the demo and have ug2/mw might well just get carbon so my answer is also "Yes"

If you liked the demo, buy the game.
If you didn't like the demo, don't buy the game.
If you're on the fence, wait for some reviews and/or a price drop.

That's my laptop, using Geforce Go 6200
EDIT: not all low setting tho, I can have others setting mostly "medium" or some "high". I can have "particle system" and "motion blur" on, but I would keep "Shader detail" to be "low"

Yeah, i am still buying it, i was a bit disappointed at first with the FPS, but after disabling that stupid motion blur, the game runs
smoothly now, mostly 30 and max was 45 fps in-game, and with the full version coming up after a few days, i am sure that the performance issues will either be fixed, or there will be a patch coming soon after the release.

Speaking from X360 POV: It went from 8.0 to 8.2 compared to MW, so I guess if you liked Most Wanted then at least according to IGN this one is better. Interesting to see more reviews.

I just don't get the way IGN gave Carbon an 8.2. The reviewer was hitting it from all sides, criticising it and then giving it an 8.2?
I mean, by just the comments under the screenshots, you can tell he's not impressed.
