I just wanted to know if anyone actually managed do to the Canyon Drift Gold challenge.
There others were pretty easy, but that's just amazingly hard.

I did it, if it's the one with the Cross's Corvette, chasing the M3, I did it, quite hard I may say .. wait until you see the next Gold Challenge ... oh boy. Now I'm @ the 3rd rows of challenges, the one with Camaro

Not duel, duel was easy, but drift is such a pain in this game and I can't do it.

I don't mean career, there's a challenge section where you can get some extra parts if you manage to beat the bronze, silver and gold race.
There's one for every diffrent race, circut, sprint, drift etc.

Even tho i'm not totally sure what you we're talking about I hope that clears it.

It is possible.....I did not get a very high score tho....just 227K
I used up the N2O on the straight(from the starting point), then try to link up the drift.

The duel using Cross Z06 is little bit harder than expected. The M3 always pull away from you if u hit the wall.
It's kind of cool that the Z06 accelerates very fast, so u can have a chance to pass him on straight.

Has anyone passed the gold Race wars, that is my one stumbling block. Any tips? Much better Challenge Series this year, you actually unlock stuff!

LOL I just passed it in my first attempt. I think it was too easy.
CCX is a fast car so I don't think you will have much problem.
What you need to do is get a good start: Perfect launch, then hit Nitrous Oxide and get to the first place as soon as possible. Don't try to mess with the cars in the middle. Don't hit too much objects and try not to hit the wall.
Once you are in the front, hit Nitrous and lose the other cars on the freeway.
If you have problems for those 90 degree sharp turn, use speedbreaker to get through.

In racewar we have the Camaro Concept and the CCX which are monsters , i have no problem when racing with those

just got 466k total for that gold mission, just need to link drifts and go slowly

I succeeded the LP640 Canyon Drift, oh well, it gave me some thrills, but I've done it, now I'm @ the min 12 mins pursuit, driving the Skyline I am taking them individually, bronze - silver - gold. each row

EVO_VIII I agree, getting a perfect start with Nitrous will win 98% of your races so long as you don't hit anything. You get a good start and can keep the lead and your almost guranteed to win, plus, a blocker keeps guys off of you once started.

Sorry for the biggest noob question of all time, but am I missing something? I'm have MW and am playing it right now, but it has these extra "challenge" races too? Where are they, inside career, or from the main menu or something?
