Looks so friggin awesome.SliM_880 wrote:yay lets buy a nintendo wii to play golf!Porsche-AG wrote:The Wii controller doesn't suck... it might be wierd at first for NFS Carbon, but for many other games (Eg. nintendo wii games would be very expensive so i would never spend $30-$45 on a golf gameDeMyX wrote:Have you seen it at fps games? Actually... they're said to be cheaper than any other console games and they are i've seen them (the prices). Sorta the price for pc games they said(I don't agree on that one tho.)SliM_880 wrote:nintendo wii games would be very expensive so i would never spend $30-$45 on a golf gameDeMyX wrote:Have you seen it at fps games? wii will have its own success in its uniqueness while the ps3 will build on its reputation and have success there all over again. having said that the ps3 will outsell and last longer than the wii, its just targeted so well at the gamer market whereas the wii is something of a group play thing... its similar to the gamecube in terms of being different but its just not up to competing with the ps3 and xbox360. essentially the ps3 and xbox360 are bulding on their previous successes by using a similar formula while nintendo is uncertain on what their own identity is anymore and is just dreaming up all these different ways of gaming. in terms of popularity nintendo are looking down the wrong rabbit hole. but kudos to them for being courageuos in doing so. someday they'll find a winning formula again buts it not going to be the wii.
wii controller for driving games - will be a bit different and will attract attention out of curiosity but it just wont become popular enough to become mainstream.
and fps games, theres computers for that - kb & mouse ftw

@ SliM: So you would rather spend hundreds of dollars on golf equipment? Some of the games that will be on the Nintendo Wii are almost like simulations because of the realism that the unique controller gives. And if you didn't know, the Wii bundle coming out includes a disc with 5 sports on it INCLUDING golf, tennis, boxing, baseball, and something else.
Another advantage Wii has over other consoles is that its size is extremely small and sleek, only the size of a couple of DVD cases on top of each other. And the backwards compatability where you can download games from NES, SNES, and N64 can be great anytime.

What wireless routers are good for connecting a Nintendo Wii to the internet?
I have weak signals on my Nintendo wii when I try to connect to the internet so I can play Mario Kart Wii online against others. What are some good wireless routers an would it help me connect?
