Do you think EA should make a addon pack for carbon that includes the ability to import mp3s?

MP3's? Nah, I'd prefer WMA's.

Couldn't care less. I turn the music off anyways. All I need is the sound coming from under the hood (which is actually greatly improved in Carbon).

Carbon is the first game since Porsche Unleased (I haven't played Hot Pursuit 2) that has good music. It really fits the game, the underground night racing, the speed, the danger of canyons etc. I could go on and on. Carbon's music has hooked me, and I for one don't want to replace it. That said, an MP3 feature wouldn't be absolutely hated by me.

Agree w/ Prince on this one, I keep seeing "the music sux" on EA forums but it really doesn't. That being said I have quite a few tracks that I'd like to import (I play NFS:C on PC.)

Unless the soundtrack has about 5 hours of trance on it, the soundtrack isn't perfect. Sooner or later, I will get tired of the music in the game, which means I'll mute the game music, and keep Winamp running in the background instead

The music seems to be better this time around because they didn't jam the soundtrack full of crappy rap/hip hop and horrible emo/punk wannabe music. I think Underground 2's soundtrack was one of the most horrible game soundtracks I've ever experienced. Most Wanted was a bit better, but still too much rap. It just doesn't fit the high speed game play of a racing game... it's also really annoying.
With that said, a music import feature would be awesome. Rockstar did it with Grand Theft Auto, and it totally changes the gameplay experience. Especially when you have the game radio commercials inserted between your songs. Kind of like listening to personalized radio.
I at least wish I could tell the game to only play a certain genre of the included music. Technically I can by unselecting all the tracks I don't want, but that is really time consuming.
Gary Numan ftw.

what are you talking about, there was only 1 or 2 rap songs in MW, Do Ya Thang by P$C. i am rock was sort of...but i wouldnt call it rap. Rap music suits the menus alot more than rock does, esphially where you mod ur car.
