Read the forum, and my answer pretty much sums it up mate. So many cars in the game, so few to actually play with in career mode.

Forgot to say, you can use it in "quick race" only.

To get the BMW you have to go to reward card and see what you must do to unlock it it's under the last card
when you complete everything the car will be available only in quick race under the custom cars and it's you can't modify it
