the key is in using a rumplepad2... dont ask me why (just EA lameness i guess) but with anything else you cannot get amazing scores somehowFishwhiz wrote:yep. you used a trainer. i just tried a viper totally maxed out for drift and the most i got around the first turn was 25,000
this might sound stupid (it does actually) but it seems to be true
Look at the guy's N2O, it never goes down. Trainer x20.Fishwhiz wrote:fine then, 8,686,980 then. he still used a flippin trainer. its way too obvious.Boosted420a wrote:8,686,980pts. Copper Ridge (World Record?)

@ Stereo
Rub the dust out of your eyes... Nos level sinks and reloads normally..
Trainer x20 ?? Its a canyon drift.. The multiplier is X20 there!!!
@ Fishwhiz
I didnt tried the PS2 version yet.. But I'll lend it and test the drift there.. One thing I can tell 4 sure. Before I got my Logitech pad I was using a PS2 pad over an adapter.. There are huge score differences between the ps2 pad and the logitech..

It's so funny how people think you cheat when they can't duplicate your scores.
YaelDjiel is right... For some reason, the drift section of this game was designed around the Rumblepad2. I honestly think EA has stock in Logitech therefor this little quirk. I started out using a PS2 gamepad via a USB adapter that i've been using for years, and found people using the RumblePad2 were crushing my scores. So I decided to get one and found it's a night and day difference.
@Stereo
I only used nos in the begining to get up to speed. It does recover over time. And x20 is standard for canyon drifting. Also keep in mind your speed plays a huge factor in drift scores. Getting a high speed into the 1st turn is crucial for the rest of the drift. That's why you see me and many others back up at the start of a drift to get more speed. In this track you can't back up much so the viper doesn't benifit much from it. A perfect start ended up working better for me.
@Fishwiz
It takes time and a good setup for getting good drift scores. At 1st I couldn't hit 6 mil on this track. But after many restarts and some fine tuning I was able to get above that. It doesnt happen over night. Some of these tracks takes several days to figure out. And the viper I think is the hardest car to control. I use it because it capable of crazy high scores.

Thanks for having my back bro.
