It's Starlight Strip in Silverton.

And to cMw, no trainer involved. Try running around the track at 140mph+ and see what score you get.

I have Camtasia Studio 4. but audio codec's are hard to work with in this app for some reason. the video codec either divx 6.4 or Xvid works well. Audio I will have to cut down to 8bit I think so the file can be uploaded. other wise it's like 30-40mb. 2 mins should be around 8-10mb I think.

What was the MB size for the Viper Drift for 2mins and what app was used?

I must admit, when i first watched it i immediatley thought, "trainer". But then that was me judging that effort on my own previous attempts. Which to be honest, were pretty half hearted. I basically completed the drift and moved on rather than trying to beat my own scores and master the drifting technique.

I've since had a little go this morning on quick race, and managed to get a couple 400,00 and 500,000 plus scores. I hit the walls quite often too, so once i brush up on my technique, i'm sure i'll be pushing close that kind of score, even if i don't managed to look as graceful.

BTW, great video mate, keep 'em coming!

Jesus wept! How the hell can you do that without hitting a wall!

Awesome video. I guess not everyone thinks the new drifting style sucks.... :D

Originally it was about 14mb. Format was Video: divx 6.4 640x480(30fps full motion/NTSC) 1000kbps(insane quality), Audio mp3 24khz, 56kbps stereo.

I tried a 320x240 same specs, but file came out bigger.

All this was done in PowerDirector5. A very easy to use simple program.

It's ashame what youtube.com does to it. It looked great at 320x240 when i sent it in... very crisp and clear. It got mangled when it was reformated on their end.

Ok, here's another vid. This time it's Knife's Edge with a police car. It's more or a less a joke vid, but I get a descent score. Close to my best, but not my best ;).

I'm amazed how well the police car handles in the canyon drifts... like it was meant to.

->NFSC Po-Po Drift<-

hahaha PO PO Drifting, 5 0 Drift King lol

I heard the game call the cop car when I was running from the real police a Nissan...

So the cop car is really a Nissan with a new shell.

I use an xbox type controller, Firestorm Dual Analog 3 Gamepad. works well.

Just can't drift like you :)

How is it you keep your speed the same almost the same? going around corners. do you use handbrake at all? and do you keep the gas down all the time? do you let up on gas ever? Please explain in some detail! I'm sure alot of people would like to learn the way you drive...

It seems you know all the curves! must play the track over and over till you get it down?

Really Nice Driving by the wayIn All Your Videos!!!!!

Thanks,

I try to learn the track 1st ill go through it a few times and try to see what the best line through the turn is. Then I go back and see how fast i can get through the turn. It seems there is a certain speed for each track, that once you hit it, it kind of stays constant. Almost like auto accelerating. the turns are a bit tricky, it's a lot of taping gas and handbraking. I haven't figured out how to use the clutch. Evertime I try it, I smack a wall. So my turns are mostly ebrake and gas, I never use reg brakes during a drift.

Once I think I got the track somewhat memorized, I'll run fraps and hope for the best. If I hit anything that causes the drift to end, I just restart. Vid's gotta be clean 8)

Thanks for the info, Another Nice one to add to your collection :)

I try to do that but the skill isn't there yet, to much e-brake or not enough and I hit something :(

I have got a 20X once but didn't total to that much....

Keep yp the good work, I wish try would keep the same video you upload I am sure it's alot better looking, they cut it down to much.

I believe EVO III has made mention of a program called GameCam. At least I think thats it. possibly google it.

Also I am uploading many of my vids to filefront.com. Most are set to 320x240 res, but the clarity is great. Unfortunately I have deleted the files I have frapped to make these vids other wise I'd have a 640*480 format for ya.
