hi folks
i know this is my first post and i know it's gonna make me look like the biggest noob, but is it correct that you get to buy all cars if you beat career mode with 100%?

ps: what's the best tier 3 tuner? my rx7 just can't keep up with those flashy vipers and vettes and whatnots...

no you cannot by ALL the cars, some examples are the zonda, ccx, bmw,911 those and some other ones cannot be had in career without use of a trainer and the CE edition. as for the best tuner try either the Evo or supra or my favortie the skyline, keep in mind tho they wont have a chance angainst the vipers or corvettes on the straights they will only have a chance on the really twisty tracks, i would look at something like a murcielago (good handling, speed, acceleration)

Matters of taste, but I'd go for Evo. Skyline isn't bad either. As far as unlocking goes, unfortunately not. There are quite a lot of cars that are unlocked via award cards or challenges. And even then lot of the cars are NOT available in career, only in quick race.

I loved the skyline, it brought me though the hardest times...

You can't whack a tuned up evo for the majority of the tracks, especially the canyon races.

EVO is the fastest. Skyline is a little slower, but looks better :P

skyline handles better and forget about topspeed b/c it doesnt matter both of them are not powerful enough to get to their top speed so you might want to focus on acceleration and handling

Skyline oversteers a bit compare to Evo, but i have found that Evo has better acceleration out of corner. I don't know it's my feeling or what, i have done some intensive time attack of lookout point and found that i can achieve the best time with full hoursepower, full top spd, high rpm. All tests are done without nitrous and Evo outran skyline by around 1 second. Anybody has compared the Evo to skyline ?

and how the heck am i supposed to beat a 'lago in a canyon race with an rx7?

He's saying to consider using the Murcielago because it has good handling, speed, and acceleration. From my experiences, use any of the exotics, but make sure you tune them accordingly for canyon duels.
