how to patch 1.3

i downloaded patch 1.3, then i run it in the nfs carbon folder, but nothing happens, pls help me...

make sure you use the correct Region Patch eg: UK, US, EU etc

what do u mean? i had a collectors edtion of nfs carbon, how do i know if its US, UK or UE or somethin...

you could know by knowing where you live? 
US = United states
UK = United kingdom
EU = Europe
there is not a US CE patch, so you would need either the UK or EU patch

No. The install info should be in the registry. If you mucked with the game launcher though, either through a no disc modification or something else... the patcher won't work.

I did read on the EA site that people were having trouble patching the game when it's installed to a custom directory. I advise you get over there and search through their support knowledge base for answers. Failing that, take a look through the Carbon forum.

I have installed my copy into custom directory and patch window opened for few secs then closed, and game has 1.3 on its start screen. Seems like all went ok.

I've got the Collector's Edition (apparently it's UK) so I tried patching it with this patch: nfsc_patch1.3_collectors_englishuk.exe. Unfortunately, I'm still at 1.2...?
Did any1 succeed in patching the Collector's Edition to 1.3? I'm using the default install dir btw...
