Yeh! Four is enough for me! I'm into this tho - gonna grab a few screenies when I think of it. I do keep an Excel file of my records with each car, track etc, so here's what I have, circuit speed wise...
Olympic Square - 315.90 Lancer
Atlantica - 318.27 Sentra
Inner City - 306.71 Skyline
Stadium - 294.55 Celica
National Rail - 318.62 Skyline
Market Street - 308.31 Skyline
Terminal - 294.56 Skyline
Now I know these ain't great, but I ain't been trying for max speed yet. Also the spreadsheet is full of holes - I don't have records for all cars all tracks - nowhere near it!!
But now, I do have a goal!! Expect these to rise.. ;wink:
I rekn we might also compare lap times in here - to me these are more important in circuit racing.
Circuit Lap Times...
Olympic Square - 0:43.65 Lancer
Atlantica - 0:44.45 Lancer
Inner City - 0:49.47 Sentra
Stadium - 0:54.27 Celica
National Rail - 0:47.61 Skyline
Market Street - 1:09.72 Skyline
Terminal - 0:52.82 Skyline
Again, no recvords on file for the rest.. How am I doing?

Yeh - seems i always come up with a kicka$$ spreadsheet for a racing game that I use to record my scores, and track stats etc. I just note things down on it as I go.
The one for NFSU is still in early days, but it does a few cool things like highlights the best time/speed for a given track amongst all the cars etc. Also has some cool interactive charts that show the cars performance both stock and tuned (see pics). If u like I can send you a copy to use yourself... need m$Excel 2000 or better tho..
Sorry the pics are hard to see, it's a big sheet!

- This shows car performance in various categories - handling, acceleration etc, both tuned and stock. You can click buttons to sort the charts by whatever stat you like.

- This is where you enter times, speeds, scores etc - two numbers for each car/track combo. The sheet automatically highlights the best numbers in blue.

Yeh, VB is like second language to me. Don't really need it for this simple stuff though, just record a few macros and then tidy em up in the editor. The rest os through the gui - conditional formatting etc.
There's a copy on the way. It's virus checked by my AVG on the way out, but take care and check it when it arrives huh - you never know these days...
