Hi,

I am already running NFS MW on my PC currently. Now for some requirement (for practicing to take part in a contest) i need to install NFS U2 on the same PC.

I wanted to know are there any known issues having these two games installed simultaneously. If so what could be the cure / precautions.

I don't want to lose on my 80% game completion on NFS MW.

well...i havent heard of any problem on installing MW and U2 together, but just to be on the safe side y not make a copy of the MW safe file

I have U1, U2 MW and Carbon installed. The one problem that will crop up is that the game executable is called SPEED.EXE in both cases. Because of this, the installation will fail since the installer thinks the game is already installed when it finds the file on your hard drive.

To get around the problem, simply rename your Most Wanted folder temporarily to something else, install Underground 2, then change the folder name back again.

The main executable in Underground 1 and Most Wanted is called speed.exe. This may cause problems when installing. All you have to do is rename the folder for the one you have installed, install the other one, and change the name back.

Underground 2 and Carbon have different executable names, so it doesn't matter.
