When i install U1 it tells me to insert the MW CD. I insert it but instead of entering U1 it enters MW. What should i do?

Thats a known prob.. MW and U1 using the same installer. That causes the problem...

Open your registry

Then goto
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\EA GAMES\Need for Speed Most Wanted

right click the entry then choose export. after you have saved the reg file delete the entry .. Now u can install U1. When u finished the install, double click the exportet reg file... all set

Or you can try, like me, to rename speed.exe in the main folder of U1 to, for example, underground.exe. Worked for me, now I start U1 by just inserting the cd-rom and let autorun do it's thing.

Exactly..renaming the .exe files usually does the trick temporarily, but what xxNEMO01xx said, solves the problem permanently

Err, that might sound stupid, but how do you open the registry in Win XP Pro?!?
Cuz I got my hands on a Most Wanted from a used game store and I have UG1 already installed and it do the same problem, but only in reverse. When I want to install MW, it start UG1.
