Beating Darius

Ok, so I beat Angie and got her Pink Slip, beat Kenji and didn't get his Pink Slip, and beat Wolf and got his Pink Slip. Now I'm on the boss race for Darius, but I have to go through Angie, Wolf, and Kenji again. I can't beat them in the city sprint. I've tried the Gallardo, 350Z, and Clio. Clio best luck in canyon, 350Z best in city but I still loose. I cannot unlock the frikin Evo, Murcielago, or damn Challenger Concept. Any ideas to help me from this point on?

Hmm i used the lambo i beat him quiet easily u just have to take the shortcuts.
for the canyon against wolf for the lambo i used the porsche carrera. i unlocked the evo it is quiet easy.

I can tell your talking about the Murcielago... I'm talking about the Gallardo! Now I'm taking on Darius in the city though.

You should use a tuner for that one, easier turns. Use either the Evo or RX-7 and tune the tires to drift

What about the Supra? It'll help me in the city sprint etc. BTW, I'm back at start. I have to win canyon sprint etc. BTW, I'm on the PS2. Plain version too. Right now I have a maxed out Clio and Gallardo. And a somewhat tuned 350Z. With like 34,000 in cash.
EDIT: I'm thinking of restarting career mode. I think I just need to forget about visuals.
Except rims and height. Those actually help IMHO.
O yeah, I beat all three bosses with a Mazdaspeed 3
EDIT2: I'm gonna need all three pinks too.
Except I always sell Angie's Charger. It firetrucking sucks with handling. No control. BTW, I didn't type the actually "f"+ing word. I just typed firetrucking.

the easiest way to beat him though, is to use the Corvette, took him out on the first try!

I honestly found this really easy in a 350z-
Angie, Kenji & Wolf's races I beat first try, Darius street 2nd try and canyon 5th.
I lost the canyon by 108 points - no lie *shakes fist*

I'm not a really big fan of Chevrolet now. I got Game Over'd tho.
Still have all my cars and parts etc. unlocked though! One slight advantage to this though, is that I started against 21st Street this time.
So I'll get the Tribal Vynals etc.
So yeah... I'll have to work my way up again...
