since there are many pointless polls running around the forums i will just ask.
since i plan on getting carbon soon should i:
A. buy the regular and download the CE patch?
B. buy the CE?
C. buy the regular
D. buy an EA downloader version?

If you want to be able to play online, I'd suggest going with the EA downloader version as it will provide you with a few extra legally unlocked cars. After that, you can buy the car bundles to get any other locked cars legally unlocked.
If online play is not your goal, then go with the regular and download the CE patch.

Since it seems like you are buying it for PC, get the CE if you can find it for cheap, I found it for $40 at a Gamestore. But I got the CE for xbox360 from a great friend of mine for free...so i dont have your problem...lol

There's a normal edition? I thought normal editions were for consoles only. I've never seen a normal edition for PC.

this game is good, its just to short and many bugs but ok
get the ce version only $40 probably lower now since I bought it last year

Hopefully by the time NFS11 comes out, TDU will have given EA such a scare that they might actually fix the bugs before release. Therefore, I, too, would go with the wait option.
