how come sumtymez after a race it sayz i unlocked transmission and nitrous and stuff but when i go to custimize my car it still says its locked???

Pabl0z, you of all people should no better than to spam in the forums.

as for the parts still being locked, are you talking about winning a boss street race then quiting to go upgrade? if so you have to win the street race and canyon duel to unlock the part. if this isn't the case then i'm not sure what it causing the problem as i've never encountered it. you should try the EA boards if it continues.

The answer is simple.
Because the part u have unlocked need to be installed on a car with the same "Tier"...
Let's say you've unlocked "Tier2 - Nitrous Pro package", if you have a Mazda RX-8(Which is a "Tier 1" car), you can NOT install the part to ur car.
In the other words,
"Tier 1" performance parts can ONLY be installed on a "Tier 1" car
"Tier 2" performance parts can ONLY be installed on a "Tier 2" car
and so on~~
