Hello, "Q Don Quinlan", here...

I'm working on a car project, a 550 A Spyder (NFSPU). I got the parts available I want, but after I make changes to the exterior/interior and drop the CRP file into the CarModel folder it will not play. Even the simplest of change to the CRP file causes this.

In-fact, it crashes the game. No problem though I plan for that.

Something like this happened to me before when I tried to paint the "Bus" that is part of the traffic, but I was just goofing around and forgot about it.

My question is: Is it possible to Mod the Spyder..? How..?

I'm sorry to say that we can't edit the textures. The game exits to Windows when you load the car. That's the reason why we never see an edited 550A...

Thanks, I thought this might be the answer. I noticed Addict made the "Editable Porsche 928GTS", but I'm guessing that was different.

Too bad if so, I have a 550A Sypder on my desktop that is 90% complete. It won't play in the game though, so I'll archive it for now.

If anyone find a way to unlock it, please let me know... otherwise Thank You and I'll close...

Yes.. you could ask. Go look at EA's message boards for NFS. There are already lots of questions there that remain unanswered.

If you have an alternative way to reach EA, please do...

I did release a "550 A Spyder GT" and a few other 356's. The Spyder is parts modded at least. Check it out here:

The Spyder is not the only car locked, all the traffic is too...
