I just wanted to introduce myself to the community. I am the new Community/Content Mgr for the NFS series. I told Bojan that I'd be here shortly. I'm here to interact with all of you in trying to make your NFS experience a better one.
If there is anything you want or need, do not hesitate to ask. I will try to the best of my ability to answer or get an answer for you. If I don't answer you, please don't be frustrated. I will do my best however.
Thanks!

Ofcourse we do.
I think EA is a sellout and I mean that with all of my heart. You cant make a good game in less than a year. And how can someone take a series like Need for Speed or Command & Conquer and crap on it then attempt to sell it on the name alone.
Cheap.

Awesomeness...
first request:NEON!
second request: Both day and night mode that runs with the system clock on the Console/PC
EDIT: Hey, can I race you on Most Wanted!?

Welcome to NFSUnlimited, probably the greatest NFS fansite in existence!
I think I can speak for most of the members here when I say, what we'd like to see most, is a gaming experience free of serious bugs such as crashes and hangs in the final release product. I'm referring mostly to Carbon on the PC, and these bugs really should have been ironed out at or before beta-stage.
Don't get me wrong - I loved Most Wanted (despite the flawed AI IMHO) and enjoyed Carbon - but Carbon was such a let down due mainly to its instability and shortness of Career Mode after the awesomeness that was MW...
Oh yeah, and I'd like to make a request - please include more European cars in forthcoming NFS games - Vauxhall Astra VXR would be awesome in a tuning game

Hi

I want more Drifting, and a better Autosculpt ^^
I have even an idea for the Autosculpt: one should make complete-own Bodykits, and not so semifinished from EA... The same applies to be able to make to widenings... those should one also... thus no more finished units, which one must change... Perhaps one could be able oneself to make still by Autosculpt its own car, thus, if no BMW M5 E60 were in the play inside, could one a basic form take itself, and then it formed these (with the WII would be perfectly applicable that), until one then a new car has and then afterwards to still designate, and perhaps one should put this car afterwards under series vehicles that one does not have to make always the car new... and takes you with this NFS more time, than with the others, so that it becomes perfect... ^^
I hope, you understood this, 'cause I must use a Translator...

Don't do drugs.
And, also, the next nfs game will not be for ps2 or xbox and gamecube. only next generation.

No drifting? Thats probably one of the best modes in the NFS games (out of drag) and probably also the only one that requires skill! I was even pissed when MW didn't have drifting! Don't know about you but i'll take a shot if drifting in the next NFS
Autosculpt...Didn't really care about it much but it's a cool feature that I could get into
BMW M3 GTR...Hmm...Guys...Don't bite my head off for this but, I couldn't care if it was in or not...At least if its gonna be in there don't make it a customizable (bonus) car
Larger car list...i'm talking about round 75-100 cars including the Mazda RX-7, Honda S2000, (many will want this one) Nissan Skyline GT-R, and the Challenger (Old school version)
Also you could make a section for the tuners, muscles, exotics in the "My Cars" a
And also put in some more concepts like GT does, but I do have to agree with the kits, you could keep the EA kits, autosculpt and also give a option on which the user would like to use (Autosculpt/Aftermarket/Customs)
and it would be a good idea (IMO) to keep the next NFS game on the current gens and also put em on the next gen, Why? Because not everyone has a next gen console or a gaming PC setup and that way you could make more money cause current gen users>Next gen users maybe on NFS 12 or something you could take it off because probably by then the console gen users will shift and there will be more next gen than current
EDIT: Also...If there are gonna be bonus cars don't make the "exclusive" stock cars any of em, they should be customizable
And you know what would be cool? a EA online showroom similar to the NFSUnlimited showroom except for in the game and people who plays U2/MW/C and the next NFS could show off their cars in the game's online showroom
and finally there's my 2 cents!

guys please can we stop
ASKING AND ASKING and
WISHING AND WISHING???
We need to look the problem from the start, the core, call it whatever u want...
1st of all we need to "complain" of the bad game carbon was. We need to explain to this guy first of all what are the fans looking for: innovation, classic gaming, etc. Then we should proceed to the BUGS GLITCHES complain.
I will be the first:
Hi there, I'm a chilean player, southamerican guy, whatever....
I need to say that I'm very dissapointed in the fact how EA is taking care of the NFS series. Come on!! We can't leave such ammount of incompatibilities, errors, bugs, etc, in the last games (MW and Carbon), that's very frustating for us!! We're always complaining about errors, etc. So please!!! You should consider the 2 years to do the next NFS GAME!!!! PLEASE!!! Carbon was very unestable, and that's not a "racing experience" because in the middle in the race you are suddenly in your desktop.
That's not a "cool game"....
2nd point is that the game is not a recycle bin. Guys, you have LOTS OF MONEY to invest and research a lot more!!! Create a new engine, more compatible with PC, NOT CONVERSIONS from CONSOLES!!! New game modes...come on!!
IS EA WATCHING WHAT ATARI IS DOING WITH TEST DRIVE UNLIMITED???? I HOPE SO....
My last question to the EA guys is this: WHY THIS CONTENT WAS REMOVED FROM THE GAME?? THIS LOOKS LIKE ANOTHER GAME!!! JUST TAKE A LOOK PLEASE

:
http://www.nfsplanet.com/pic.php?images ... e/0030.jpg
WHY?? that's not even close to the final product...explication
please?
Some parts of Palmont City that are showed in pics are not now in the final product, or even NEONS, etc, why not there?? is Larrie LaPierre decition? or
TEAM?
That's all for "NOW".
I hope to believe that HE is a EA guy, in that case......we're saved

Man, please, I need to talk with you something very important, just shortly ok?
Xturbo.

Here's a start, stop recycling content.
I don't even know if 'making a good game' was even on EA's to-do list. If they took that one seriously, then they would've stopped making the same import/illegal street racing games by now, though Most Wanted was pretty successful. A smart move is to start from scratch, come up with an entirely new concept or go back to the classic Need for Speed, and catch the press and community by surprise. That would definitely refreshen the franchise, and add some major hype to the game.

I would like to add that i WILL NOT BE BUYING the next nfs, EA lost me with carbon and i know that the next one will suck ASS as well. Rather give my hard earned money to another company that actually listens to theyre costumers.

Hi mStephenson. I'm also new here. But this is a cool forum.
Of course, new game better be bug free, or at least reasonably bug free that you won't have it "shunting" you into Windows at the drop of a hat.
Now, ideas, ideas....
-Better customization, but internally and externally. Bring back the "parts' besides the whole sections (like you can get better engines, but you can also get engine parts).
-More cars. Obvious. Me, one car I'd love to see is the "Locus" (no, not "Lotus", "LOCUS",
http://www.lotussupercar.com. Its stock version has about 1000 HP)
-night/day cycle. But I don't think it should be synched with the system clock. Why? Because that way you can have events/locations that are time-dependent. Also, some races might "force" you to night or day.
-Secrets. Give more of a reason to "free-roam" besides getting into cop chases and challenges from rival crews. There should be more back-alleys and side-streets. Exploring, you can find things like....extra races. Hidden parts. Hidden challenges...such as you pull into a back lot behind a building, someone is there, and challenges you to a race, the prize being some kind of superior gearbox or something. Or in some cases, you'll even be shown new paths. And some secrets/events may be time-sensitive (if it seems empty during the day, return at night)
-Multiple cities. Why have one, when you can have several? They'd be linked by both highway and backroad, with things like service centers, a ghost town, and small villages accessable. Also, in between cities you could have highway races, canyon races, and even back-road races. Also, among "secrets" might even be another way out of town.
-Weather. At least three states...clear, rain, and fog. Clear is obvious. Rain may make certain surfaces more slippery. Fog reduces your vision (but, if you're being pursued by cops, they too are at a disadvantage, and if you "know the area", it's easier to put distance between you and them).
-Different surfaces. Paved road, cobblestone/brick, concrete, gravel (some backroads and lots have them), dirt. Different handling on each of them. Maybe there could even be tires or even SUVs that are "better" on the rougher surfaces
-More bosses and crews (self explanatory)
-Return of drag. Possibly some other kinds of races
-Some "fixed events"....such as an important "race-war" that, if you win, you're immediately forced into a police pursuit, thanks to someone "rigging" things.
-Things like neons and colored headlights would be a nice touch
My $0.02,

Raakone nailed it in one. I for one found carbon fun, but not extended fun. Its lifespan is rather short lived which is why most wanted was good.
I would like to add that some of the older style NFS games had a certain speed to them that kept you on the edge of your seat knowing that if you made an error would pay for it. eg. NFS 2 where you go by the coast then downhill through the cliffs - pretty good fun!
I don’t feel that with the newer titles (with maybe the except of a hardcore police chase in most wanted), challenging yes, exhilarating… not quite so.
So maybe getting to my point: Bring the exhilaration back to NFS series

I dont beleive its whining as long as it is constructive. To say "Im never buying another NFS game ever again" is not constructive and not aiding this discussion at all. But improvements and opinions from old and new NFS fans im sure he is greatful to hear.

I dont think he will be back and even if he does come back i dont think they'll give a rats ass about what were complaining about.
