Anyoen know any cool online multi-player RPG's? My friend likes them so I figured what the heck... we can play together online, but I don't know any good ones and all his suck.

Hmm, well there not much of my thing but you could try Runescape

I played Kalonline for a couple of months.
It's cool, but you really can't trust anyone in that game.
It's full of scammers and I dunno if they've fixed some bugs yet that people used to exploit.

The only free MMORPGs I can think of are Runescape and Second Life, though I doubt SL is what you or your friend is looking for.

I tried Second Life the other day and it was absolute bollocks. Apart from being boring and confusing, you can't even do much without paying money

If by free you mean not paying every month like WOW then you should get Guild Wars.
Now if you mean something else, i don't know.

Yeah, I only played it for like a week. It's basically a 3D chat program if you're not spending money.

The only two I can think of off the top of my head are "Knight Online" and "The Universe." Out of those two I'd say knight online has more of a point to it than The Universe and it's graphics are better. But I haven't played either in a long while.

there's a rpg called flyff(fly for fun).....it's like every other rpg only you get to fly

true but it might be a good alternative. you still have a role in the team it has decent graphics and best of all its free. it is for online play though

hey theres a game called Last Chaos where evrything is free. the graphics are top notch and its like runescape. only thing is that you pay money only for armor weapons and etc. not to cast spells and crap. FilePlanet has a long running beta of it and when you first play it you get free items and what not.

I tried Last Chaos for a week or so after Kalonline.
It was ok but got boring really quick.

Dink Smallwood turned abandonware not so long ago...

me too, and the gfx was so choppy that i just standed there like 5 minutes without doing nothing because of the lag, and the complex system, and the horrible bugs and glitches...

Uninstalled in 10 minutes after i installed it.
