The (E46) M3 GTR had an all-alu 4L (3999cc) V8 with 8 individual throttle bodies, equal length inlet and exhaust manifolds and twin VANOS units, developing 450rwhp and around 330lb ft. In contrst, he standard M3 and M3 CSL were powered by a steel-blocked 3248cc inline 6 engine with alloy cylinder liners, 6 individual butterfly throttle bodies, variable intake tracts (which are banned from the GT2 class motorsport) and twin VANOS systems and develops 343bhp at the crank (360bhp on the CSL with optimised engine mapping and a carbon fibre inlet manifold) and about 280lb ft torque.
The M3 GTR was banned from GTR racing when Porsche called for restrictions to be made on V8 engine manifolds as the claimed 450rwhp was actually probably an extremely low estimate.
There were small number of production versions which were road-legal built, 200 I believe, all in LHD and with a pricetag of $300k. The V8 was limited to 380-odd BHP on these cars but they had no speed limiter, and were theoretically 190mhp-capable.
Many tuners have built replicas based upon the GTR. The most common is the Flossman GTR wide-body kitted cars, as seen on Craig Liebermann's "Uber M3" (google it) which sports Lamborghini candy blue paint, a 100 shot of direct port nitrous and 20" HRE 541R wheels,
Another is a US 520bhp supercharged flat-6 powered E46 with the Flossman wide-body kit, carbon roof, bonnet and bootlid from Vorstiner, 10-point rollcage and 6-piston hi-spec brakes all round.
I can scan some magazine articles if people want.

The I6 Twin Turbo is based on the old-generation 3.0 as the all-alu new generation engines can't take the boost of turbocharging. It's got a lower specific output/L than the N/A E46 M3 engine even with a pair of turbochargers.

Anyway,thanks for the information
And krazyammo I want the replica of the in-game car with the same grafics
There is no REAL M3 GTR as NFS MW replica, the only replica's where regular M3's or even normal 3 series.
There was never a M3 GTR race, transformed with the NFS MW vinyls.
