Actually, if you read the review, the red one is the Inno3D 7300 GT at stock speeds (500/1400) and the green bar is the same Inno3D 7300 GT overclocked from the already overclocked stock speeds (640/1600). Neither of them are at reference speeds of 350/667 and, again, that card is not available in North America and, therefore, not available at Best Buy.darknight788 wrote:yes there was alos that highly overclocked 7300 but then there was that red one which was stock
i believe though that the 7300 GT being tested was DDR3, and ive heard the 7300 has better overclocking abilitites than a 6600 GT. over all id say the 7300 is a better buy because it is cheaper, has huge overclocking abilities, is less outdated than a 6 series, is based on 7600 architecture, has the ability to unlock extra shaders and pipelines for even more performance. also whichever one you buy both are obsolete in todays world so shoot for atleast a 7600 series
Yes, the 7300 GT can be a better overclocker (since it's a low-end card, part quality can vary greatly from manufacturer to manufacturer), but since the 6600 GT is faster (reference vs. reference), they end up being about equal in terms of performance. If you unlock the additional quad on the 7300 GT, the 7300 GT will be faster.
