Has the Need for Speed games changed your life?
Has the Need for Speed games changed your life?
Since NFS Underground (and The Fast and the Furious) I've always dreamed of having a sports coupe. After passing my test two years ago, I've been saving up for a Silvia or RX7.
I'm hope to soon buy a Mazda RX7, I'm just lookin' for the right car.
Anyone else with a story to tell?
p.s. having OCD doesn't help, I just have to buy this car.

@ viper16: There's not even a Silvia in any of the recent NFS games.
NFS hasn't changed my life other than making my wallet a little lighter for no good reason.
Maybe a better topic would be, Has nfsunlimited.net changed your life? I'll go start it right now, as long as the mods are okay with it. Here's the link: http://forum.nfsunlimited.net/viewtopic.php?t=14605

Honestly...it did. When I came to Canada in 1998, NFS II was the first game I played here and it was one of the best games I've ever played during my lifetime (at that time). Note that my knowledge of games was very limited and before this, I only played C&C: Red Alert, Dune, and Formula 1 Championship.

it has for me because it got me intrested in games and cars so i took my craving for more car games and went to forza. From there I learned alot about cars, so when im walking down the street now I see a little ricer or something and I think: 'Wow, he shouldve bought a Big Mac instead of that $2 exhaust'

exactly the same for me!Turbo King wrote:I was in to cars quite a while before I played Nfs but I suppose you could say it has fueled the fire! I think Gran turismo was more of an inspiration to me making me want to learn the technical aspects of cars and performance modification.. Just remember after all it is just a game!
