Even then, overclocking a 6100 or any other card, is still not advised. And what sort of performance due u plan to achieve with your tuning
I can guarantee that it wont even achieve performance lvls of a 6800 Ultra or a 6800 GT. Dont even think abt acheiving 8800 performance lvls with overclocking LOL!!

take a look at this comparison with a 6600 GT http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=a ... =457&num=2
the 6600 walks all over the 6100

Intel Celeron D 64 3.33GHz
160GB HDD
2GB RAM (only 1 without Vista's Readyboost)
ATi Radeon Xpress 200 (133MB)
Dual Boot: XP Pro 64x and Vista Home Premium
And before you say something like "wtf celeron", this rig is good enough to run F.E.A.R. to my suprise and some other games nicely

16MB? if you mean GB then you have no chance, I told you, 4GB is the max and it has to have these following specs:
-The device must be able to do 3.5 MB/s for 4 KB random reads uniformly across the entire device and 2.5 MB/s for 512 KB random writes uniformly across the device.
-The USB Key has to have at least 64mb of free space

Re: Computer Show-off
Gots me an Acer Aspire T2080 with a 2GB memory upgrade. I'll be picking it up, tomorrow.
Re: Computer Show-off
Decent laptop. Not a fan of the video card though. I am literally almost crying these days when I see what kind of good laptops you can get at a fraction of the price I paid for my c***box 4 years ago.xHaZxMaTx wrote:Gots me an Acer Aspire T2080 with a 2GB memory upgrade. Re: Computer Show-off
Okay, so, went to Best Buy, picked up the laptop after the tech assured us everything was in working order, brought it home, turned it on, and... Blue screen. Begins a physical memory dump, but freezes at 60%, so I do a hard restart and hope it was a fluke. So Vista loads, and everything's working fine for about 1-2 minutes, then the blue error screen comes up again, and does another physical memory dump, but reached 100%, this time. I figure it's done its business and everything should be sorted out, now, so I restart, again, but it doesn't even load, this time; the screen is just going crazy. I restart it once more and the same thing happens. So we end up taking it back to Best Buy, where they have a look at it and figure that the problem lies in the video adapter. Fortunately, this was covered under warranty, and I walked out with a new laptop, but not after spending another hour at the store waiting for the RAM upgrade to be applied to the new laptop and having the exchange all sorted out.
Everything's working now - typed this post on the new laptop.

Actually it's none of the above if you took your time to read you would see that he actually said what happened.
