A broken LCD doesn't show these patterns, it was computer hardware related as HaZMaT said.

Aye, the peeps at Geek Squad figured it was the display adapter.

On a somewhat related note, I won't be taking my computer to Geek Squad for maintenance. They had 'optimized' my laptop before I picked it up from the store by going into System Configuration and disabling all startup programs, so half the drivers for my laptop weren't working.

*caugh*broken sensor *caugh*

There is no way in heck that your CPU can be running at 100+ and the motherboard only be at 20.

That's still pretty cool though

I imported all the photo's off my cell phone today, so figured I'd post a picture of a PC I did a while back for a buddy of mine. :P

Image
*Gay a** magnet not included*

I could have taken that rig alot further, buy they wanted to stay under a $500 budget... unfortunately I couldn't really do it and it came out to around $575 after everything, including 2 neon tubes a month or so after delivery. (Good thing I offer in-home support for all of my systems - yes, it's more than one - at least for some action on the then-new Halo 3.)

I'll probably post a pic or two of my current setup once I get my new speakers in.
(Gonna' buy another Logitech Z-2300 set) :D

--EDIT--

Here's an old pic of the old 'SilverBullet-1.5' configuration lol.
Just before I ripped the damn thing's guts out.

Sorry for quality, guess I flinched... was kinda' hyper once I got that MoBo lol.

No, the front is made out of perforated black aluminum (and a back piece as well), and the lower half has a blank aluminum plate behind it. The picture kinda makes it look like a cheap carbon fibre ripoff with circular patterns.

http://www.globalcomputer.com/applicati ... =P450-8670

http://www.globalcomputer.com/applicati ... =T925-1199

i/m just gonna take my Antec PS out of my old shot computer and replace the 450w that comes with the barebone, and i get to keep my old hard drives with gigs of music, and garry's mod crap

I guess you're being sarcastic? Well, there's a lot of space to work with, but I did a reasonable amount of modding to the case to route my cables in a better way, create some room for the rad and flip the PSU upside down.

A small case is only a pain in the ass when it comes to maintenance. Other than that, I find it easy to assemble a watercooling setup.

Due to motherboard faliure... Godzilla has been rebuilt to... Godzilla V2!

Before:
17" BenQ LCD
Average Age: 3 Years
-Pentium 4 Northwood 3.2Ghz with HT
-2GB DDR 400 RAM (Crept up eventually)
-Palit 7600GT 256mb AGP8x (Replaced Original FX5600)
-Gigabyte mobo
-Winfast XP2000 Alanog TV/FM Tuner
- " DTV1000 Digital TV tuner
-Liteon 20x DVD Burner (Replaced old, buggered 8x)
-HDDS in 80GB Master for system and smaller programs, 320GB Second Master for games (Added recently), and media, 160GB 1mb cache for temp stuff/backup.
-450W PSU (Original one gave up after 1 yr)
-Simple Classy ATX Case... black and silver with colour coded parts.

Smooth gameplay settings (Tested on new config too):
Oblivion: High 1280x960
FEAR: Max CPU, High GFX 1280x960
Prostreet: CPU was suckage
Crysis: 1024x760 Low, high sound, med textures, objects and physics.
Juiced 2: 1FPS on min.
Counter Strike Source: High

After catastrophic hardware faliure:
17" BenQ LCD
Average Age: 1.5 Years
-Pentium Dual Core E2180
-2GB DDR 800 RAM
-Leadtek 8600GT 512mb
-Gigabyte mobo (With HD audio... so much better than old onboard!)
-Winfast XP2000 Alanog TV/FM Tuner (From before)
- " DTV1000 Digital TV tuner (from Before)
-Liteon 20x DVD Burner (New... SATA as to keep my IDE HDDS... as I would have had an 80GB only... :? )
-HDDS in 80GB Master for system and smaller programs, 320GB Slave for games, and media, 160GB 1mb cache for temp stuff/backup in external powered case. (From before)
-450W PSU (From Before)
-Simple Classy ATX Case... black and silver with colour coded everything. (From before)

Smooth gameplay settings (Tested on new config):
Oblivion: Maxxed with exterior shadows only on med 1280x1024
FEAR: Max
Prostreet: Max
Crysis: 1182x864 High except med shaders, particles and water.
Juiced 2: Smooth FPS on Med, but... freezes every 10 secs no matter what... the game is buggered... POS.
Counter Strike Source: Max

Cost: $350 in parts... cost of 7600GT before that had a similar leap in performance a while back: $270 Lol.

Now for the fancy trick!

Yep... music, TV, Games... I really can';t wait till we get another rig, which will be much better, but this'll go in my room hooked up to my stereo... not that I'd use it when I have my HD 515s... but yeah, I can use it as a TV thingo... or get a LAN going when a friend comes over.

Oh... and Norton has been forcefully removed from the system a while back... uninstaller was faulty... so manual uninstall >_<. And now running Mcafee Enterprise. Desktop is a bit neater, and new wallpaper. Oh... and I got the new office.

Dude, I want a corner desk soooo bad... :(
Nice setup there buddy, to Baumaxx too. :D

I know to some it may look a little ricey, but your average joe can't tell the difference between a generic POS and a custom beast sleeper. Besides, it's my baby... :P

Since I don't have any smaller pics (RAZR's set @ 1.3MP,) I'll just post links.

Rear/Side w/ room lights on - no neon
Side/Interior View w/ room lights on - no neon
Rear View in dark - no neon
Rear/Side view in dark - w/ neon

As you can tell, I don't run the neon much, as it makes it way to bright for my likings... I like the subtle blue glow from when it's off (Camera magnifies LED Fan's effects.) In fact, the neon's really only there for when I have the bass turned up on my subwoofer. (Sound activated.)

You can also see how almost everything has a light blue LED glow to it, including the Power Supply (sweet) and MoBo (super sweet.)

I'm also hoping to get it in that Antec 1200 soon, which is why my T.R.U.E. CPU heatsink isn't installed yet.
BTW: Feel free to laugh at the Under Armour logo...
That's football pimpin' there. XD

The only thing that lights up in my comp are the front LED's, a red glow under the motherboard, and the LEDs on the other parts. I don't like 1000 neons and LEDs in my case.

Yeah, MoBo underglows is what I was talking about. The only really noticable things are the LED fans, since the Zalman's LED isn't that bright lol.

(Yes, I have a Zalman PSU) =P

Speaking of spicing up, the new 22" Dell came in.

I love it man, it defiantly beats a 15" CRT for gaming.
I tried to but my CRT on that empty shelf, where you see the hole in the back (printer used to be there,) but it wouldn't fit. I guess I'll have to wait until I buy a 19" to put there. :P

Sorry about quality BTW, RAZR pictures lol.
