NFS Pro Street Exclusive First Look
NFS Pro Street Exclusive First Look
I got invited to EA Blackbox in Vancouver, Canada with other webmasters of Need for Speed fansites for an exclusive preview of Need for Speed Pro Street.
They showed us most of the features of the game that is scheduled for release in November 2007, so read the article to find out what role damage will play in the game, how the game actually drives as the physics has been redone from scratch. Did you know there will be around 60 cars in the game, mostly tuners and muscles, but also 8 super cars. And there are 4 race modes available including the comeback of drag and drift with real like car physics! Read about the most detailed performance customization in Need for Speed so far with the return of the dyno and introduction of the wind tunnel - yes visual upgrades do change the aerodynamics of the car! Much more information available in the article!

they always work in several games at the same time. NFS8 was being developed before NFS7 was out.BrontoX wrote:If they are working on it for 19months already that explains Carbon.
At the moment its almost sure they are working on NFS12 (maybe hot pursuit 4, since they release a new one each three games).
Still rolling my eyes
After reading Bojan's article, now I am much more convinced than I was before. This will be great, Finaly! The last two NFS weren't good IMO, MW was full of cops, too much, and Carbon was a mix between MW and U2 - it was like a bridge between the two generations testing what they were putting on PS. I will miss free roam, and I think I will hate damage (I like my car to be always polished) but finaly... thanks EA, thanks for removing silly bumpers that would scare ghosts and please give us some good cars!
Unfortunately the car list is something that cannot be revealed yet. The information on which cars are in the game will slowly be coming out, like with previous games.
We all played the development version of the game on the xbox 360 and drove a RX-7 with somewhere about 450hp. Some guys tried it with all assist off (they did a lot of spinning ), I had a few assists on, so the car was a bit more stable.
Also I forgot to mention this that this time they're really focusing on the pc as well. On a high end system the game should look pretty good I think I heard dx10 support.
If you have any other questions regarding the game, fire them up.
