You seriously have to switch that handle on the front to something a bit more unnoticable :D.
The car will prolly look quite good when it's finished :).

Lol no offence but i have to agree with Pabl0z the handle looks like one of a cupboard.

BTW when do u reckon you'll finish? Is it still gonna be red? Looks like a sweet build though. Wish i had the time for that

Semi-glosse or matte black paint. :)

by race_invader
Yeah hmm... alot of paint ideas and actually thank you for them i will check them all out and see what matches etc... my dad did say to me though since this car will be an eye opener it needs a bright kind of colour for it to turn heads, since people in Perth don't have this car and the fact its rare...

Example: Black will make it not stand out at all and turn heads.. dark blue metallic has a slight shine to it ect... You know what i mean anyways.. i hope.. :?

Little update: The steering wheel is going to be a racing one since the stock one right now has been rusted and really terrible..

Well, you don't want it to be obnoxious. Black or dark grey is subtle, but still demands attention. ;)

paint it metalic black and write the eureka part blood red

How bout white? With the Eureka logo in black? That or yellow

Posted: 14 Jun 2007, 05:54
by race_invader
White & blue Eureka decal on the back was considered but it was dad's idea and i told him we already have to many white cars..... dads car is white, Mums car is white, too much!
@xHaZxMaTx : You got a good point, but once again.... it's mine & dad's project so really he has to agree on it or we change it  but he also said to me black will show dirt and scratches if any...PS: He makes up reasons like a child...
--------------------------------
Most things on the car are going to be chrome or at least a nice silver colour & those cupboard handles on the front & back are going to be gone... this car also has not been driven at all since 1991...
-------------------------------

Just a note Australia has really strict car Licensing

Update: The Mitsubishi Galant engine is now removed and the cupboard handles on the front & back are removed, we also received the keys from the owner today since he found them. Dad & me are going to check the lights, Indicators and windscreen wiper to see if they work just so we don't have to replace it.. :) Ill upload more pics of progress later on
