8) It's my first try ever in movie making, and I have a movie to share - 4min.

The first one, I called 'Paco's Need For Speed' (very original, I know). Just put a few races together, tried out some effects for the first time, amateur stuff basically. But I really like how it came out, the music is perfect I think too. It's a decent quality, but 25MB download, so if you are on dial up, sorry. :oops:

Leave some comments.

I know that some things need to be ironed out, but I didn't save Project Files so I can't re-edit them... May be something new later though. :wink:

An excellent way of showing your wonderful costum-vinyls!!! I love them!
You already mentioned that the video is pretty simple; and I agree.. Yet the angles and stuff is very nice.
About the driving.. ehm.. I'll leave that to someone else lol.. jk :wink:
The major con imo is that the video is quite long, and might get a little boring.
Still, it's way better than anything I could do :wink:

lol, thanks. I didn't try too hard on driving, I actually like that it's bumping around, it makes it look not so linear and more action packed... if you look, there are parts when it's all over the road and when it's normal... I also drive with traction OFF, so that's inevitable the car is drifting at times.... Oh, and when you switch between views, esp front/back it gets a little tricky to keep the straight line.

Like I said, I wish I could edit it, and may be I will, but I will have to recreate it all over, and since it took me like 4 hours to make it, I don't know when i'll get to it again.

The length, well, I didn't edit the music, that's why it's 4 minutes - because the track is that long. But I might just cut down and edit the Audio itself, mix it up or smth, and shrink it to 2 minutes or so.

Hope it wasn't too boring ;)

Yep, sterling work there dude - wouldn't pick it as a debut effort. That N.E.R.D mix absolutely rocks too - great choice!! I got a funny feeling it won't be long before the vid gets out into the 'Underground underground'... 8)

That's cool. It took me around 2minutes to dowload - but I got a message from Lycos for traffic abuse, lol!
Thanks for the comments, I think that track is awesome, just works so well with the speed.

I used the noobish Windows Movie Maker 2.0 that I dl from MS.. Just google for it.
And than just put music, titles and stuff, and did some overlays....

Btw, the part that I think came out cool, but unintentionally are: the way the Focus in the very end starts spinning to that tune, and the way the same Focus jumps over the barrier sideways, also in the end. I think that song's 'firetruck posers' line sounds spot on, when the cars line up to the race in the beggining, and how the hood of EA's video Eclipse transfers into my Golf going down the road...

The song is NERD Rockstart remix by Jason Nevins. Very cool track.

yes, it's NFSU video. Now it's like an RX7 video and Race 111 where you beat Nissan 350z but after watching it a bunch of times it gets boring, so I plan to come up with a theme and spice it up with new stuff..



AND CURRENTLY I HAD TO TAKE IT OFF THE SITE, AND UPLOADING AGAIN. SO CHECK IT BACK IN 1 HOUR OR SO...

Ive made a NFSU movie too, its not that good, just trying out fraps really, but its got sprint, drag and drift in it, as well as 'scooby snacks' as the theme tune 8)

it seemes that i cant download the movie, give me a page with site not availbe anymore and blah blah blah, you know the rest. were else is this movie so i can view it.

Well, good news ppl. The site I am a moderator at, had agreed to host it, so i will upload it there and give a new link ASAP. It's nice, hehe! No need to worry about bandwidth and all that... Yes, I got the warniing from Lycos, cuz too many ppl were trying to get it.. who knew! :)

never host your shiznit on cheap hosters. if you want, im gonna have a server running from my house soon, i can host them for you, i can also host you other needs also.
