My first post to the forums.
Grip: I used 911 GT2 for the most of the game, but Zonda F is just amazing, a bit hard to drive tho. Gotta try the Evo X now when I've beaten Ryo.
Drag: Supra, if you can't afford the Zonda F.
Drift: RX-7 or maybe Lotus Elise.
Speed: LP640
Can't wait to see the new cars in game, Veyron could be a beast at speed and I wanna try Mclaren F1 and Koenigsegg CCX on track.

Pretty nice mate, but personally I used the Evo all the way, Only struggle you might have trouble on is the very last pre-stage before the Grip king (the king is a joke).

Had troubles in that stage too, then I switched to Impreza... That car is the best in grip IMHO

Grip = RX-7. Period.
Speed = LP640 / Supra
Drag = ? Running a "new" GTO so far, but completely unimpressed.. perhaps a viper would do good?
Drift = 350z so far. Looking for better..
I was very disappointed with the Murcielago in this game.. it's ok in speed challenges, but it seriously sucked in grip and drag.. got better results with the handy RX-7 than with the fully tuned Murcielago.. 4wd understeer really hits you like a truck in that car.. such a pity! Other than the LP640, haven't tried other grip cars.. haven't had the need yet.. the RX-7 is a speed deamon and it handles like a dream..

Yeah agreed. the Lambo is a extreme letdown!
But I will dissagree with the RX-7 bein the best grip car haha
Drift, debatable so many people prefur diff cars ^^

My 2p's worth:
Grip: Nissan GT-R
Drag: Toyota Supra - no competition! Although I can't afford a Zonda yet...
Drift: Don't know, tried a "new" GTO and Viper, and I suck - will try the Corolla or RX7.
Speed: Porsche 911 Turbo (of the cars I've tried, and I can't keep the Viper on the road)
@ Summ: I've used my Viper in drag - fully modded to Level 3, my Supra still leaves it for dead

Yeah the Supra is deffo the best drag car up untill the Zonda
Most people will get 1 free car token at some point, its your fresh key to your new zonda

does the new GT-R understeers as bad as the Skyline?

I only got 1 higher tuned car till now (not that far in the game.)
Till now this is my list:
- Grip: Nissan 240SX (low spec but dominating in it's class (just like in carbon))
- Drag: Shelby GT500 2007 beat the drag king with it with ease and with fairly low spec
- Drift: Corolla GTS (very low spec

)
- Speed: BMW M3 E46
and several other cars but haven't had time to work on them yet.

Grip: 911 turbo 650hp
Drag: Supra 1075hp
Speed: viper 860hp
Drift: rx-7 630hp
like this setup and i highly recommend the "911 turbo" level 4 upgrades for grip its not that much hp but its so awesome i pull away from ryo with ease

great in corners and corner acceleration is very good
as for the supra evryone knows its fast..
i run fast times with it
1/4: 6,15
1/2: 9,90
viper is hard to control but i hasn't lost so much power in 5 and 6 gear like many other cars do have
rx-7 easy to drive and pulls long drifts all u need
