hey all
i installed ps on my pc and as soon as i fire it up it pops a message like
"technique not found........."
and the loading secreen shows up for a second and it crashes
i really want to play it
my specs are
1.9ghz p4
1 GB RAM
ATI RADEON 9250
160 GB HDD

I know little about ProStreet, but it could be a possibilty that your PC ain't powerful enough to run it? It could be your GFX too..

I don't think the 9250 even has Shader Model technology, and even if it does, it'll be the very early versions of it.

i have myself ran ps on a hp laptop with a centrino duo 1.83 mhz 512 mb ram stock gfx card running vista business. althoug it cant run races( it crashes) but does runs the game till the main menuFrenzy wrote:Your PC missses the minimum requirements by miles.

Well most probably because its core duo. Mine is also a laptop, 32MB stock card, 1.83GHz Core 2 Duo, Nvidia Geforce Go 7xxx, but I can still run it under low settings, because it is a Core 2 Duo, which basically means 1.83 x 2 = 3.66 GHz. Yea maybe sounds unreasonable but nothing else could explain the fact it can run ProStreet.

SRtest.com rates my E6300@1.86ghz as 4.90ghz in pentium 4 terms so it's more than double.
