Before the patch destroyed my career, I owned the following cars:

Speed:

Dodgey Viper - hate the handling of this car in this mode. Eventually retuned for drag (useless) and drift. Converted back to speed as a backup.
Porky 911 Turbo - good.
Nissan Skyline GTR R34 - best so far for me.

Grip:

Nissan GTR (R35)
Mitsubishi Evo X all level 4 (had to use "unlockallthings" - see below). Kicked Ryo's butt Painted it Chrome Pink to really embarass him...

Drift:

Pontiac GTO - not bad. Tuned since restarting career, have hit 7,000+ in some drift races.
Toyota Corolla AE 86 - all level 3 - awesome. Still my best drift car.
Mazda RX7 - won from Drift King - not so good as the Corolla for me.

Drag:

Toyota Supra - level 4 tyres - won no other level 4 parts the whole game
Ford Mustang - Drag King (Queen's?) Car. Crap.
Hemi Cuda - couldn't make the beggar wheelie for some reason.
Chevrolet Chevelle - my wheelie car. Muscle cars just look better doing it IMHO than anything else.

And of course Ryo's Mitsubishi Evo X. One careless owner. Never used.

How do you get them?

The veryon and F1 are part of the booster pack, so you need the v1.1 patch and the patch to enable codes in the .exe.

can you get the booster pack via an internet connection on XBOX360?

Also, on PS2, can you use the cheat UNLOCKALLTHINGS?

I tried it on a fresh account, and it only unlocks the cars, not stage 4.

Again, how much are stage 4 parts???

About the xbox booster pack, not sure, but you could most likely buy it in the xbox live marketplace, (you can get it on PS3 too), and stage 4 parts are expeeeensive! Umm... $70,000 for engine maybe?
