could someone please give me tuning info on the Chevelle SS?

Do you think that I could beat the drag king with only 600 bhp and stock tuning?????

no. No joke, I have taken 3 seconds off with tuning, and this is a 550bhp infinity.

okay, the only thing that i've really changed is the gear ratios. I've set my 1&2 gears a bit shoter, 3 a bit longer, and 4 stock. However, although acceleration has inproved, my top speed is limited to 250!!!

That's nt a problem on 1/4 miles, but the engine sometimes blows on a 1/2 mile race.

Anything else I should fiddle with to change my times??? (best is 7.89, and was a fluke. Normal time is 8.2)

Yep, big help.

But, from a lot of the tuning websites/books i've read, isn't there supposed to be some kind of turbo-lag, and also max boost is supposed to be VERY bad for your car...

Yes, but this is NFS,
I love Gran Turismo how you have to be sensible about turbo size... etc.

I've actually only played Gran Turismo 4, the Demo. Is the full version better than Forza? What's the difference?

GT-
more cars, many real and original tracks, rally/snow and tarmac, different race types (eg. FF, MR, Turbo, Japan 80s, WRX shootout, endurance racing), challenging license tests and challenge mode for fun, the most cars you'll get in a Racer, versatile tuning mode (realistic), realistic lines on tracks, detailed photo mode for the artistic, hours and hours of game play, directors mode to help get through long races (AI driver improves with experience). It's fantastic.

Forza-
lots of cars, visual tuning, telemetry, good performance tuning (power curves like in GT4), realistic as well, car sale realism (you chose regions which effect car availability). Haven't played it a whole lot though.
Does forza have online?

GT4Za would be awesome, lol.

But these are about the best mainstream Sim racers out. However, on PC there are a number of great sims out that are even more hardcore, like live for speed, GTR and Rfactor. For a different type of racing, Trackmania is a load of fun (nations is free to DL).
