First off, if we have one of these, i apologize, I couldn't find it via search.

Talk about your PS3 and ask questions...

(I'll start with a question,)
Does anyone know where I can find one of the 120GB system's? All I can find are the 40GB's... >.<*

There are only 80s and 40s now, never heard of that 120 GB PS3, unless you upgrade the HDD yourself.

I believe kind sir, that you have just been pwned. (Kinda... most of these were from months ago, but I still haven't seen anything on them...) :?

--EDIT--
Here's something interesting... the 120GB may be a slimline model. If that's the case, I'd gladly jump on pre-order...

120GB HDD in a SLIM LINE, you got to be kidding me, an they're willing that they will put a fricking 160GB HDD. Oh man these guys are crazy lol.

Slimline doesn't necessarily mean as thin as say, the PS2 slimline, just thinner than the current PS3.

Z0MGZ0MGZ0MGZ0MG I GOT UBER OWNT!!!!!1111oneoneone!!

Too bad those "120GB" systems aren't even existent on Playstation.com, so how bout that one. So What I want you to do is go to SonyStyle, Best Buy, Circuit City, Wal-Mart or wherever you go buy your PS3, and please go look for at least a promotional poster for it. Cause I don't think you can buy a freshly wrapped 120GB rumor.

What point of not released don't you get?

Sony's been denying it... that's pretty much why you can't find them anywhere. Besides, I"m not saying it's definitely going to come out, I'm just posting the news. :P

Buy a 40 or 60gb, take out the HDD, put your own bigger one in (same size remember!)... and hey presto! A 320gb, 7200 RPM PS3. I believe the HDD was designed to be replaced.

If you do intend on buying a PS3, NO WAY buy a 40 GB, it's a tottaly rip off, It has some features taken out of it, i mean the 20GB PS3 is better lol. And 40GB is the same price as the XBOX 360 Pro / Premium Package which is much more better imo.

The only main feature that has been taken out of it is backwards compatibility which isnt important now, they also reduced the USB ports down to 2 only instead of 4, and no memory card readers.

imo, none of these matter actually, the 40 GB is still great, and it runs much cooler.

Actually, the only thing I wouldn't use on that (reduced) list, is the extra 2 USB ports... I do still have a working PS2, (great condition,) but I'd still like backwards compatibility, and there's almost no limit to things that use Micro Cards...

Umm... there's no 20gb PS3, and it only loses BC, but I have a PS2. So I save money and get a bigger HDD.

There was a 20GB PS3 when the PS3 first came out, it was the VERY base model...

Has it been released? Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet.

Baumaxx: we never got the 80GB either. Thats why I took the precaution of buying the 60GB before they all got sold out. Extended warranty AND BC for those whose PS2s have broken down...like mine!

Well, it has been taken down off the servers for a while, it seems like some people are having problems with their PS3s after the update, thankfully i havent had any problems with mine after updating.

Theoretically, couldn't you do a complete fresh install of the PS3 OS, seeing how you can install any other OS you want on it?
