NFSMW Graphics Card Help

Hullo there. I recently updated my graphics card (9600GT) and wanted to play NFSMW again. All was well until I ran the game. Everything runs as if someone hit the fast forward button. Menus, Gameplay, everything!
Anyone have an idea as of why this is happening?
