As the last chop-comp fizzled out quickly, I'm taking the liberty of starting a new one. Yeah, it seems unnecessary but no one seems interested in the Volvo - tell me if you're opposed to this, and I'll declare this thread a dud.

I'm going to post a car that should be a change of pace from the usual chop-comp fare:

A UZZ30 Toyota Soarer / Lexus SC400. This should be an interesting competition because this car has aftermarket kits available and it's (at least in Japan) a reasonably popular tuning platform.

If this fizzles out too, it's highly likely that chop-comps are going to stay dead for a while.

I'm in, but I'm not planning on winning because I only want to do the sort of mods I want to do. I might post two versions though, the one that I'm most likely going to be getting in real-life, and a heavily CGI version. Here goes nothin....

P.S. I'm surprised the Volvo one didn't work out....it was an easy car to mod....but anyway.

Out of all cars, this comp had to die? I really wanted to see the outcome of this too.

No fancy stuff, no rim change, just a CF hood(still learning how to do it better) and a set of simple vinyls. For my third work in Photoshop i guess it's nice

Good stuff NoX, better than my first few tries at chopping cars ...

Word of advice for you though: when you add a "vinyl", try using blending options on that layer, to make it look like it's applied to the car.

Oh thanks....i'll try that....still pretty much a Certified Rookie at photoshop. But i'll think i'll try somethin on that volvo from the previous comp. That looks like something good to mod. Anywys. BAck to the comp. Anymore chops anyone?

Well I ain't gonna win against Koenigsegg_rox. That car is a way better chop than mine, i'll admit it. But hey. It's good to practice once in a while. I"ll get better and better this way . But i wont forget the good ol' NFS U2. And the others

That's the spirit... although, hey, you never known. I've seen creative designs win over skill many times.

If I get a bit of time later tonight (depends on how quickly my room gets finished,) I may make one. I've been meaning to get into PS, and the only thing I've made that hasn't been website related is this sig that I did yesterday, so I just might.

I'm friggin' sick... haven't felt good the past three days. I have half a chop, it shouldn't take but an hour to finish.
